Ignore him. He’ll have to stop sooner or later.

I had that problem with my dog. We would just ignore her and she eventually grew out of it. At some times it was so bad we would move her cage to another room so it didn’t bother us so much. But now she is pretty good and doesn’t really do that. Although we let her sleep in bed with us alot too.

you dont need to do anything. You need to walk away and let him cry it out. Thats the ONLY way you can kennel train him. Dont worry, it sounds horrible but they are not dying in there. You are only adding fuel to the fire by walking up to them, giving food and water and attention. good luck

Maybe he doesn’t like being caged, my 3 never did none of them never lasted a night, and they have never broken or damaged anything in the house or out of the house for that matter.

Everyone is correct, just ignore it.
However, food and water in the crate can set back potty training. It’s also not necessary overnight. Feed your dog in the morning, and in the evening. They won’t starve overnight.

If this is bedtime for the dog he does not need to have any food in there with him. He needs to associate the crate as the place he goes to sleep. You can give him water but that is it.
You will just have to ignore him till he gets use to it. Do not go to him and don’t yell because yelling is still a response and he knows he is getting your attention.

Make sure your dog is tired when you put him in there.

Just move his cage in a room that your not in and ignore! And if that does not work give it a treat when hes quiet then he’ll know he has to be quiet

i’ve said this before but Make sure your dog is being fed properly and has water continually available. Outdoor dogs need shade in the summer and a warm enclosure in the winter Mostly, problem barkers bark because they are bored. Accustomed to a lot of attention, they don’t know how to behave when alone. try spending some of your free time with your dog and he’ll be smiling like a sunshine
