I havn’t had my dog for that long, i just adopted her from the pound, and she’s a year old, and she’s only went potty in our house once, but that was the only time. I’m wondering when it’s the right time i can just have her roam around the house and be careful, and wait til morning to go potty. because usually at nite she will wake me up at 5AM making noice in her cage so i take her outside, but i just dont kno what to do, or how much longer i should wait. I got her 2 days ago. Thanx

Better to wait. You’ve only had the dog for 2 days and you have let her potty in the house already - so best to keep crating her for a while.
Those 5 a.m. wake up calls for her to potty should not involve any interaction between you. Don’t make it rewarding for her to do this, or you will train your dog to fuss constantly in her crate.

If this were my dog, I’d be playing crate games with her all the time - I would not feed her with a normal bowl, I would make her work for her food. Going into her crate for her food is a perfect activity for you to work on right now. My puppy also needs to sit before she can exit her crate - this would be a good thing for you to work on.
There are tons of positive training ideas here:
Good luck!

take her out just before bed time and let her have time to do her thing.let her stay out win ever your home but watch her like she is a little kid but just remember all she really wants to do is make you happy and after all the pain in the *** lol she will be the best dog you will ever have had a dog from a puppy is the best she learns just want you want and you learn what she wants good luck and thanks for getting her from the pound i truly think the breeders need to be shut down for a least 5 years to empty the pounds so they get the chance to be loved we don’t need more dogs till all that are have homes full bloods **** anyway they are bread with problems every time

Letting him or her play in the house under supervision is perfectly fine, just make sure she is crated when you are busy, so she doesnt get into trouble. Mine used a crate for the first year. it saves chewing issues as well. She is still young and needs naps, let her do this in her crate, that way when she wakes up, you can get her outside to potty, then have some play time in the house, and back into the crate.
