Either keep her crated in another part of the house, or make sure you’re not closing the door on her tail

you could have her crated in your room or in a another room. but the most important part is dont give in to her barking and wimpering because then she will do it more and more because it is being reinforced. good luck

My God this dog has you well trained. I would crate as well and leave her a Kong toy with fruit or veg filling or anything else she likes to keep her occupied for a while. There will be easy fix for you here, you have to persevere.

As horrible as this sounds you are gonna have to stop giving in to her. With both my dogs that we got when they were puppies would do that when they went into thier kennels at night. I would ignore it as much it ****** and broke my heart, after a week or both of them being home they have stopped. It was a rough week but then no barking after that. My dogs are kennel trained. You didnt mention if you dog was or not. I recommend everyone who has a dog to have a kennel. It is there own special little place just for them that they can feel safe in. Hope this helps.

The more you give into her the more she knows she can get away with whatever it is she’s wanting. Ignore her at night when she starts all that and she will eventually get the hint. It might take a few days and such and be annoying for you guys but it will work. You can also crate train her and when its time for bed say “go to bed” give her treats in the crate and she will be fine. I hated the idea of crates but the more i learned and saw for my self man they are awesome and help so much. We have 2 labs so I know where your coming from and we have done the above and they sleep through the night and dont make a peep. Good luck ! As far as the door thing not sure, sorry.

Put on a quiet radio or music and shut her in a room. She’ll think your talking to her

If you are always referring to your bedroom door, then it’s just because she wants to sleep with the family (pack, group, whatever you want to call it). That’s how dogs operate by nature. Is there any harm in her having a bed on the floor in your bedroom?

when you shut the door, just do what you have to do.Because the dog wants you to be back inside the house to get attention. And for the night thing all you have to do is get up and take the dog outside, and wait for about 2 to 5 minutes outside and then go back inside or you can get those little dog gates and put that up at your door and then the door wont be closed and the dog ont bark as much.
(: Good Luck.
