How can we get our neighbors’ dog to stop barking every morning?

They know that their dogs’ barking is extremely annoying,
but they let her do it anyway because it is easier than doing anything else about it. We used to love our neighbors, but that dog, ugh!

Call your local animal control. Every city and/or county has one. The police will tell you to do the same. We had the same problem.

well, try talking to the owner. Maybe they don’t know what to do?! Try suggesting, having them scold their dog if it barks. I personally don’t like shock collars, because when I rescued my dog, it had one welded to it’s neck, but they have other things, like I think there’s a spray? But try talking to the dog, or try telling it to be quiet over the fence, or shhh @ it. with a little training, it should learn to be quiet. I just suggest talking with them first.

First, try talking with the neighbor about the dog’d barking. Do it in a tactful way. Say that you need your sleep and the dog is disturbing you and then give valid reasons to support why you need to sleep at that hour (maybe you work late, study, have an infant he is disturbing).if that does not work, I would file a complaint: call your local municipal building/center and find out how to file a complaint. or try calling the police and file a complaint with them, for disturbing the peace.

well i have the same prob and i hollar at the dog my self and tell it to shut up…. if not call the animal control and they will tell them to keep the dog quite…..

My dog barks constantly. We got a complaint from the neighbors and we bought a shock collar. My dog just won’t stop! I love her dearly and remember this. You said you liked your neighbors. Well, if you call animal control, they will actually take the dog away. Imagine how you would feel. My dog was taken away and I still **** my neighbors. Just talk to the owners nicely and see if you can help in anyway.

they are many ways to stop the barking #1 would be to call animal control, but if you are part redneck??….
