How can you stop your dog from barking?

Get a spray bottle and fill it with water, everytime he barks when you dont want him to say no and give him a ****** in the face. He will soon learn that if you say no whilst hes barking he might get a face full of water and stop.

give him a hotdog that has soaked in anti-freeze, that should do the trick.

Try using one of those shock collars…we used one..not for our dog barking, but one with a remote and it worked for quite a bit of her bad habits. It may sound inhumane…I thought it was at first, but when we used it on our dog, it worked like a charm!

take him to a training class. there he will be around other dogs, and you can be taught and then in turn teach him not to do this. when he starts barking at another dog tell him NO in a firm, but not yelling our angry voice. and then turn him away from the dog and make him sit. keep doing this every single time he barks or reacts to another dog. be consistent, that is the magic to training.

Use a soft drink can with pebbles in it - when your dog starts barking, shake the can. He should be startled by the loud noise and stop. Using this method doesn’t hurt the dog and doesn’t associate you with actually making the noise.
