What are the rules regarding dog barking in San Antonio, Tx?

My neighbor keeps complaining about excessive barking (even called my landlord) but the only time my dog barks is when I come home/ at the mailman/ stray dogs etc. It’s borderline harrassment, help! What does the city consider excessive?
- i even went so far as to give him my cell # so that he could call me if she was barking while i was gone (I only work about 3 blocks from my house). He called me to tell me she was barking at a cat in the alley… WTH?

Contact your local authorities to find out. Regulations differ from area to area.
You might want to set up a video camera to see if your dog really is barking while you are gone.

there really are no laws against barking but the community you live in may have rules… But the law cannot stop a dog from barking its what all dogs do some just more than others. But if you want to control the barking the best thing to do is train your dog its easy just be stern and say no every time the dog barks…
Oh i Live in San Antonio Too so i know the laws…
